Terms of Service

The short version

Kingdoms of Iron is a free browser game, built and run by one person. Play fair, be decent to other players, and understand that an online game changes over time. That is most of what follows.

Your account

• You can play as a guest, or register with an email address to keep your progress across devices.
• You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself. One account per player is the intent.
• You can delete your account and its data at any time from the in-game settings. Deletion is permanent.

Fair play

• Automation of gameplay (bots, autoclickers, scripts) is not allowed. The game has systems that reduce the value of automated play, and accounts that persist may be restricted.
• Exploiting bugs for gain, rather than reporting them, may lead to the gains being removed.
• Chat is moderated. Hateful, harassing, or abusive messages are removed and can lead to a mute or a ban.

Purchases

• Optional cosmetic items can be purchased with real money. They change how your hero looks, never how strong you are.
• Cosmetics are delivered to your account immediately after payment. Where the law grants a withdrawal right for digital content, completing the purchase means you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge the withdrawal right is lost once delivery happens; statutory rights that cannot be waived are not affected.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

The game itself

• Kingdoms of Iron is a living game: balance changes, new features, and reworks of existing ones are part of the deal. Game-balance changes are not grounds for refunds.
• The game is provided as-is, without warranties. We work hard on uptime and data safety, but a free browser game cannot promise either perfectly.
• We may end or suspend the service, or these terms may change; material changes will be visible on this page with an updated date above.
